Description: A tileset I made for C3 summer 2020, here's a desert that's an improvement from my 2018 one. This version in particular comes with additional SMB3-esque blocks, among other things. The quicksand is ExAnimated, and as you'd expect, does nothing - you'll need separate custom blocks for that.

You need to have the ExAnimation frames set correctly (brick block icon in Lunar Magic). The sample level has them all set up, so you can just copy all the animation slots from that level into your level.

I already thought that the older tileset was beautiful, but then, you came and showed me something even more amazing. Superb work, Mr. Pixelator.

There are a lot of assets here that it should never be boring to make a level with this nor play it. The sand is among the best I've seen in desert sets hosted on SMWC. The stone has pitting, blocks have textures that make me think of old Arabia, and those pillars with matching platforms are an excellent addition to create high-altitude areas. The default palette is deep and natural, though the plants, bones, and blocks can break it up for you if it's too earthy.

Fantastic work. Highly recommended.
