Thanks for the update! Not the most universal patch out there, but it can add a certain little flair to the right hack. Pairs nicely with this patch.

Tested with Asar 1.71, Lunar Magic 3.11, SA-1 1.32, Snes9x 1.59.2.

I know this might ruin the whole idea of the patch, but is there a way to configure any amount of lives to start off with from the beginning (starting a new file)?
