This is a claymore mine that will explode when Mario or another sprite trips the laser. It has a wide range of customization options that can allow it to be picked up and thrown around to function like a tool for Mario, or make it a deadly enemy that must be avoided at all costs.
You can change the claymore's detection range, the trip timer, the explosion length, and many other behaviours. All settings are controlled by the extra bytes, for which you can find details in the asm file.
Replaced all the Unicode hyphens with Ascii hyphens, fixed .palmask to also exclude the background colour.
A pretty nice sprite and pretty versetile (just be consistent with the settings, okay?). I really like how you can kill a Yoshi just by eating a Claymore (if set to explode).
There are some minor (and easily avoidable) bugs, though: The high bytes. I noticed in two instances where you didn't take care of the carry flag: In the interaction and in the block destruction.
The idea is that you can trigger a claymore between screen boundaries if the claymore is located at the top and Mario (or the sprite) at the bottom and if the claymore is located at the bottom of a subscreen boundary, it'll destroy the top tile of the subscreen.
You also didn't set the sprite timer when killing a sprite through and you don't need to spawn a Bob-Omb when you can just set the Claymore to change to an exploded Bob-Omb.
In a rare instance, it's possible with Yoshi to eat a claymore while the screen is frozen. The resulting Bob-Omb neither explodes not can be interacted with.
Those issues are rather minor, though, but it would be nice to fix them in an update.
Edit: One thing I forgot: It's possible that a shellless Koopa jumps into a claymore. This is a side effect that the claymore acts as a Bob-Omb and how Koopas can jump into one (as long as they're carryable but don't explode) but there is a small fix to it.
