Good for futuristic cities in outer space.

First, apologies that this took so long to moderate. I also swapped #4 and #6 to minimize SFX cutoff and $EE interference as we discussed. While the port is acceptable, I think there's some additional cleanup that could be done to push it above and beyond. First, I don't hear the droning pulse sound thing that the original has, I'm guessing you replaced it with the strings? Second, @3 is fine as a lead, but @0 might be a touch better and more akin to a square wave, though that's just my own preference. I also feel like I hear some detuning in parts, but I'm not sure if that's the port or just the song (because either way, it fits). For the pitch bends you mentioned, it might be easier to use $EC before the select notes that have a slight bend instead of $DD. If you listen closely to the original, for example, the second note of the lead should have a very slight pitch bend. You might also be able to do something similar by making the instrument have a very soft attack for notes. You already have a bit of this sound in the beginning. Finally, the original song feels much crisper than your port, which can be personal preference as well, but if you want to strive for accuracy, I would suggest toning down or entirely removing the echo.

Anyways, je sais que c'est beaucoup de bla bla, but they're just some minor points that took quite a few words to explain. :P Of course, feel free to DM me if you wanna discuss it more in-depth, since I feel I can explain better that way anyway.
