SMW also had an issue that some sprites have a shorter suboffscreen range that deletes sprites when its entire body is offscreen rather than when it is far enough at least 16-32 pixels away from the edges of the screen. I made a patch that fixes that.

Also, I think this patch also uses the level constrain mechanic unless their direction is overrided to just go straight.
