Description: This is both ripped and original. By original, I mean I drew some extra tiles, as I wasn't able to include every tile here. Besides, I might end up with more tiles. Also, I aimed for accuracy. I think I did well, but it's your decision. I did this according to Teyla's suggestion. This goes really well with Anorakun's Sonic Mania - Press Garden Zone rip.
Here's what you can do:

-full 512x512 BG - check;
-configurable BG for other users - check, but watch out.
-uses all palettes - check. I wanted to add more, but because of palette limitations, I went with my configuration and turned out well.
-SMW status bar compatibility - no. You must use either DKCR Sprite Status Bar or Remove Status Bar patches.
-tile consumption: 124 8x8 tiles. A very good BG choice.
-.mwl sample file - check;
-screenshot and in-game pic - irrelevant, but check.

The trees were one of the easier parts. While IrfanView did fail me, I had to guess. The worst were the leaves. Drawing those while respecting 3 colors were a royal pain. I had to guess there a bit more. Glad you liked it.

I changed some layer 3 settings so the full layer 3 can be shown when using it in horizontal levels with high verticality. Great job with this. I was unsure about how to rip the trees and you converted them very nicely to SMW.
