Tip: If your level contains elements that temporarily change the music to a global song (such as a P-Switch or a Star), that music will not stop playing after the intended end time if the music bypass setting is set to 00.
These blocks act similar to traditional vertical pipe blocks except it no longer checks for your position making it much easier to enter the pipe, this is also very useful for if you want to have pipes that are shorter or longer than 2 tiles wide. (like the jars from Super Mario Bros. 2)
Version 1.1 Changes:
- Added SA-1 compatibility
- Merged the two blocks from 1.0 into 1 file.
- Changed FreeRAM address to avoid conflict with other patches.
Could definitely see this being used in kaizo hacks to make the dreaded up-pipe easier. Definitely a nice quality of life block that will find some use and everything seems to work as intended, so it's accepted. Note that the Hide.asm file isn't entirely necessary, the block will work just fine without it, but if you prefer the quicker disappearance of the player then it's there if you want it.
