Tip: If it's possible to carry a tileset-specific sprite (such as a Buzzy Beetle or Bob-omb) through a pipe, make sure it has the correct graphics and sprite palette on the other side!
For fans of SM64 Sapphire: a brand new 30-star adventure awaits you. This is a very traditional platformer hack meant to challenge players who have already mastered everything vanilla SM64 asks of you. 4 original worlds, complete with a hub, Bowser stage and fight. The entire soundtrack is original music composed just for this game.
Though the game starts out fairly easy, it does get quite a bit more difficult by the end of World 3. The difficulty is somewhere between Intermediate and Hard...if you can beat Super Mario 74, you will have no problem beating this hack. This game is my love letter to platforming in SM64.
Please enjoy and check my YouTube channel for downloads, updates, and the OST. Cheers!
Cool hack definitely had fun! My playthrough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MN2jVsWj4ZE&list=PLMN_Y-fMaEXVKEsTKqeBJUdbMkm2Fn7Pj&index=25&t=38s&ab_channel=NintenTroy
Okay, a good hack indeed. The levels are fun, there are some nice challenges (while I'm a bit poor at playing SM64, I really appreciated the Pachinko star in level 4, for instance), the general ambiance of the levels was fairly good... and don't forget the good music either. I managed to collect all stars, and you provide good clues on how to reach them, without being too obvious. Kudos to you for that.
All in all, a pretty good game, with some rather interesting challenges (point: some of them are rather difficult, but that's me being a bad player), good levels, and a good replay factor. Thus, this can be safely accepted.
