I'm sure everyone who's looking at the actual GFX00 would figure this out, but just in case: in the ReadMe, it should say that $20-$23, $30-$33 are freed up, not $20-$24, $30-$34.

requires changes to work with sa-1 pack 1.35+ (dma remap conflict)

Changes:
  • Now compatible with SA-1 Pack v1.40 and future versions
  • Minor changes to the formatting so it's properly colored by my syntax highlighter (doesn't impact anything from the patch itself)

This patch doesn't work with the Retry patch by worldpeace. It looks like they both make changes to $00A300 and $00A304 and conflict.
EDIT: Thomas posted a fix for this patch and the retry patch here.

Great update; accepted. Was long overdue to see this version of such a useful patch with SA-1 compatibility.

A small update. There's not much to say about this one except that it's a very useful patch.

- Added SA-1 support
- Added support for other patches that needs to run code on NMI.
