Cute Kaizo World

Excellent beginner hack to start with after doing some of the initial tutorials. This is the first hack I did after 2 Kaizo 2 Learn and I was able to complete this within a few hours.

Great beginner kaizo hack with solid level design throughout. Aesthetics and music were also very good. 5/5

A fantastic and charming beginner Kaizo hack, I enjoyed every level and didn't think anything felt jank or poorly designed. I also really liked the fake block troll in the block breaker level. Fun beginner hack. A couple issues here and there with various mechanics (first switch palace wasn't the best, and the second one wasn't too much better, but at least they were both relatively short), but overall a fun romp throughout.

This hack is fun, great music, amazing experience for beginner kaizo. Only a couple of shell tricks here but they really help you get better. Only my second rom hack experience and absolutely loved it. 10/10 hack.

this hack is awsome! great job i had a lot of fun with all the lvls! difficulti is a bit hard for a true beginner ( casue of many regrabs and tight jumps ) but i still give 5 stars here :3 good job slopcore!

Really well put together hack! The pacing is really good! For example, the levels that required more difficult tricks were shorter than those that required easier tricks!

Very AYAYA hack, with reasonable difficulty spike towards last 2 levels. Great and nice experience not a big fan of no overworld, incase you want to try again a level you simply cant.

This hack was great, The last section of the last level was a bit of a difficulty spike for me, but I'm a complete newbie, with only a few hacks under my belt.

This hack definitely helped make me a better player. I see there's a sequel! Going to go grab that now.

This was one of my first hacks and I still revisit it often. Extremely satisfying gameplay, great music, great aesthetics. Just an amazing hack all around that I would recommend to anyone. Thank you for making it.

i love it

A great hack with many custom sprites, backgrounds, palettes and music, yet it managed to retain a vanilla-esque feeling to it. If you liked and beat Quickie World 2, this is right up your sleeve.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this!
The overworld, level design, and music were all amazing.
If you're a new player, like myself, you'll love this hack. It teaches you how to become a better player, builds confidence, while challenging you and leaving you wanting more.

Very fun and beginner friendly hack, looks nice and is fun to play. 5/5 if you look for some beginner kaizo hack and know how the basic tricks work in theory

The only part i did not like ist the ball n chain setup in the last part of the castle, because i could not get that part consistent. Probably did it not the intended way, but other than that very nice to play and every death feels fair. And i dont know if its intended, but you can take the blue shell in the blue palace out of the training room.

Way too challenging for a beginner kaizo

I finished Cute Kaizo World recently and loved it. The levels were very enjoyable, and the difficulty curve felt pretty smooth. Definitely a good hack for beginners to sink their teeth into. The custom sprites, music, and backgrounds were also all excellent and really added to the experience.

Very gentle kaizo hack. Strongly recommended as a first kaizo for anyone looking to explore the style.

Very beginner-friendly hack. This was the first kaizo hack I beat and had tons of fun. Awesome graphics and good choice of music as well. Last room in last level was pretty brutal at first, but forgiving enough after some practice. Great job!

I had a lot of fun with this hack. Some areas were more challenging than others, but over all never got too frustrated.

This was the first Kaizo hack I beat, I really enjoyed playing through it. Loved the "cute" aspect to it with bowties on the mega moles and such. Some challenging but rewarding sections. Can teach you a lot as a beginner. Stonebridge was definitely my favorite level! although Zalzion Castle was really fun too (especially the last room - hard but rewarding!). Can't wait for more from Slop_core!!!

Great hack to start your Kaizo journey with.

Amazing hack to test out the regrab skills. For someone who has barely played through Baby Kaizo and L2K, this hack actually helped up the ante for my confidence in chaining sawrfing skills going further.

Recommended for those looking for a good beginner challenge or even refresher on skills. PS: Switch palaces were the most epic part of it for me, especially the first key escort one 'Pink Palace'.

Great beginner hack with two spikes in difficulty (the second switch palace and the last room in Zalzion Castle) which might frustrate new players. 5/5

Fun hack, it's nice for a relative beginner to be able to beat levels in 10 to 15 minutes.

Cool little hack, I can see this being a decent beginner hack, although I probably wouldn't choose this one as my first kaizo hack mainly due to the absurd difficulty spike of the last room of the castle, definitely felt out of line with the rest of the hack.

Other than that pretty good!

Had a great time with this incredibly solid hack. Just a good, fun platformer that manages to be forgiving to newer players, while still being fun for the experienced player who can knock it out in a few hours.

There are some spikes in difficulty that might hold up newer players, but nothing as harsh as Tower of Power/Sawrfing.

An excellent piece of work all-around, would recommend a play whether it's your first hack or your hundredth.

This is the first Kaizo light hack that i finished (in fact without even finishing the original game) and i would strongly recommend this for players who want to dip their toes into Kaizo light hacks.

The levels focus mostly on 2 or 3 mechanics and create great challenges with it. There are plenty of checkpoints to ensure you don't burn yourself out.

After spending 17 hours on it i managed to dine with the Reznors, and by dine i mean whoop their cute asses!

I spend 4 hours on Intervale because i had a lot of trouble with the yellow-block-breaking mechanics and i spend 4 hours and 30 minutes on Zalzion Castle (the final level) which was in my opinion by far the hardest.

All other levels took me mostly 20 minutes to 1 hour.

The first Kaizo hack I've beaten! Thanks a lot for the nice experience. It took me quite a while, but I really liked the relatively short sections and how forgiving it was (most of the time).

The shell action was awesome. I think I spent most time in the part right before the boss.

I played it in stream and I can say that I loved her hack, an extremely tasty and easy to play hack, perfect for beginners, and for speedruns. Anyway, I loved it, my chat loved it, and I only have one rating to give which is 5/5. Congratulations on the work, and I hope you do others as well.

It was the first kaizo light smw hack that I played through, it was challenging but fun all the time and it teached me a lot I think.

Some sections where a bit tougher because I'm not good at shell jumping, but now I'm a little more consistent and confident with it.

Best choice I could have made for my first kaizo hack to play through.

An overall very nicely designed entry to kaizo hack. Beginners will find this to be quite the challenge at certain spots and experienced players will enjoy the well laid out setups.

two weeks ago, after watching kaizo streamers over years, i started playing kaizo hacks myself.

in this two weeks i finnished -
super moo world
baby kaizo world
and today
cute kaizo world

cute kaizo world made me feel like a real kaizo player. each level is challenging and fast, but very smooth and after clearing them i want to play them again and again. my no. 1 hack is cute kaizo world and i hope lot of kaizo beginners play this hack as start of their kaizo journey.

This hack was fantastic from start to finish! I'm definitely recommending this as a good entry point for new kaizo players. As a relatively new player myself (I've beat Quickie 1&2), I felt that the levels were reasonably difficult without being overwhelming. The final castle was a pretty significant jump in difficulty, but was also very fun with fair checkpoints. The music choices were also great.

My only gripe is the lack of indicators in some sections, especially for several of the jumps in the final castle. The addition of a single coin before quick jumps would be welcome.

Awesome hack slop and a great soundtrack 10/10!

Very fun, I had a blast playing this. I was looking for something with similar difficulty as little mario world. This is easier but its close enough. 10/10
