Really cool beginner friendly kaizo hack.
The game is both beautiful and enjoyable. As one of my first attempts at playing kaizo mario, I really liked the fact that difficulty is very well balanced.
I found some challenges but none that made me want to give up playing this hack (which happened with every other kaizo hack I had played before). The smooth difficulty progression and the indications written in the background (like in screenshot 9) help you improve your skills until you finally beat the level.
It has some custom elements and honestly some of them are amazing. I actually loled when I reached the second part of the "Caves and Carts" level. Overall these elements fit really well in the game and feel really natural.
Levels have a custom look and they are really nice with a custom background and a really nice color palette, you can see it in the screenshots.
I started with 1.0 and made a new game in 1.1. I had no problem understanding the Luigi code (I didn't reach it in 1.0 so I can't really compare). Overall, 1.1 feels like a finished and polished game, fixing a few things from 1.0.
Just download it and play it. You won't regret it
