Finally beat this. Difficulty is completely off of the rails. Much harder than most kaizo hacks. Play this but take Anikiti's advice -- for super players only.

Fyi: in the first level, take a shell from the shellbro and use it for an easy life farm.

I just found what you mean, thanks.

Great hack, but why do you only give 1 life? I have save states so I just save state everytime I beat a level, but what about those playing on actual hardware? This is something that really needs to be fixed.

Thank you so much erpster, I sincerely apologize. I didn't see your comment until now for some reason! I actually just finished fixing and submitted Luigi's Adventure 3 OSE!

I'm glad to hear that it could work properly! As for the way to patch it, you'll want to use Asar to patch the .asm file to the rom!

It's definitely an extremely hard hack! That's what I was wondering too, I included it in the submission notes as well. Because I can definitely see the difficulty cross over into the Kaizo territory!

Heck yes I can! Currently starting the prep work for fixing that hack! #tb{:j}

that's nice. let us know when you are able to do this.

so far no problems found with the updated Luigi's Adventure OSE Lost Levels game - plays perfectly in both snes9x & bsnes. just need to figure out how to implement the save patch for this game to save my game progress after beating all the levels
