| Description: | After more than a year of work on my first Super Mario World kaizo hack, I believe I have finally destroyed enough of my bad ideas to call this done. Arcane Mario World is nearly vanilla kaizo, with just a few exceptions. It's a pretty tough challenge, at least solidly intermediate. Not recommended for newer players. Don't expect much in the way of hidden secrets or flashy custom ASM, just what I hope is a fun, tough platformer. There are no invisible kaizo blocks, (not even one) but I promise I have made up for this with many other fun surprises. ;) So many people helped me immeasurably in the making of this. You've taught and encouraged me, answered my silly questions, and inspired me to build this monster. I am grateful. I hope you enjoy the struggle ahead. 1.1 Changes Some setups have been changed to be simpler and more intuitive. Others have been changed to prevent jank, cheese, and minor spawn issues. A few indicators have been changed or added where I felt it would be helpful. Some minor timing changes have been made to allow easier first cycles. Made slightly easier but for a few minor pieces of cheese prevention. Less falling garbage and mean trolls. (There will still be some amount of falling garbage and mean trolls.) Removed many overhead spikes and munchers, and made some sections less tight and punishing. Minor palette changes for better visibility. |

A fun and quick hack. Most of the levels fall between 'beginner+' and entry-intermediate, with a bit more difficulty towards the end. A good playthrough for anybody that just wants to do the kaizo.
and the comment below is a troll in itself... there are a few trolls sprinkled about, but nothing too painful.

Optically the most levels arent very beautifull. Some levels looks good.
The most of your Setups are nice.
