I thought I was going crazy for hours trying to get all five Dragon Coins in Myrica Mansion (the ghost house in the forest map), until I realized that the Item Memory Index setting used in Level 1E8 (the third lava room, the one that has the up arrows that appear after pressing the P-Switch) causes the last Dragon Coin to not appear. It's a real shame for those trying to do a 100% run of this absurdly difficult game.

Most of this game is challenging but fair, however there are two levels that are incredibly frustrating and stupid. The last one right before the special world making me ragequit because it's just so dumb.
Fortress of Valley and Myrica Mansion (The 2nd)
Both of the levels are basically just a bunch of identical rooms with doors and you need to enter them and figure out the correct combination of doors to beat the level. With challenging jumps inbetween and NO way to interpret whether you've entered the right door or not. The first one is bad enough, but the second one has about 10 doors and you need to enter the correct one about 5 to 6 times to beat the level. So you've got 5-6 identical hallways with 10 doors and you need to enter the right one multiple times and if you die you need to do it all over again. It's the most baffling design decision i've ever seen. Why would you EVER do this and not include any form of clues to make you understand that you're going the right way?

If it weren't for that i would have given this hack a high score, but this is just too dumb.

N450 brought this up to me. There's a Map16 oversight in Artemesia Ocean 1 in the 1.0 version of this hack which was originally uploaded here that was fixed in 1.1 which was never uploaded here.

I fixed it so it includes the correct Map16 tiles for the left pointing arrow sign near the end of the level.

You can find that slight fix here!

Finally completed Luigi’s Adventure 3 MarioX World Chronicle Overseas Edition and I can honestly say it’s quite a good Hack with amazing music choice and great level design. A few frustrating bits here and there but obviously the Hack was within it’s said difficulty, overall a very great Hack and again massive shout out to SimFan96 for fixing this Hack and making it playable the way he did with Luigi’s Adventure 1 MarioX World Chronicle Overseas Edition, he’s the very heart & soul of SMW Central. #tb{:]}#tb{:DD}#tb{:D} Definitely rating this Hack a five stars and a 10/10.

It's about what you expect from Anikiti - challenging platforming, rude sprite placement, ghost houses with a bunch of rooms that look exactly the same, etc. any% to Bowser's Castle is honestly not that bad and pretty enjoyable- the checkpoint placements are pretty generous in this OSE version.

Uh, then you get to the Special World and that's kinda out the window. Most of the levels are tough but doable, save for Interstellar Flight, which is probably one of the hardest levels I've ever played, standard or kaizo. It's off the rails difficult even for the extra levels. Prepare yourself for a big grind if you intend to beat it RTA.

Hi there! I made a fixed version for this hack, since this version breaks on accurate emulators and can't submit an update because there's no fixme tag.

Here is the fixed version though!

The music in SNES9X is still buggy and makes noises to the point I couldn’t play it through properly.

only happens when playing it from snes9x versions 1.52 or newer.
or if playing it from snes9x v1.60, enable the "separate echo buffer from RAM" option in the hacks section of the snes9x 1.60 emu and the music & sounds should play correctly.

otherwise wait for a "fixed" version made by SimFan96 to be released later this month that would address most of the problems you mentioned and would be compatible with recent versions of snes9x & bsnes

Thanks for the helpful info #smw{}, I already know that SimFan96 is fixing a lot of inaccurate and broken SMW Rom Hacks because he told me on YouTube and on his website and I PM’ed him on here also. Hopefully he’s able to fix a SMW Rom Hack that I really like and that I mentioned to him about as well, Super Mario World The Secret Of The 7 Golden Statutes because I really like that Hack and it really pains me that I can’t play it because the Hack is broken and is inaccurate. It’s such an amazing SMW Rom Hack. #tb{:]}.

Really hope at some point this Hack gets all bugs fixed and becomes compatible with accurate Emulators especially SNES9X Emulator and then get properly re-uploaded afterwards.

Thanks for making this difficult hack!

Few notes: there should be a fixme added since this hack breaks on accurate emulators. Difficulty should be changed to very hard considering how ridiculously difficult the late game and extra world gets.

In Interstellar Starship, you can hardlock yourself here if you collect this cape while being slightly offscreen. This can cause quite a bit of frustration considering that you don't get a saveprompt in the previous levels, causing potential progress to be lost
