Tip: Make sure that ALL exit-enabled pipes, doors, etc. have a screen exit defined, or they'll take you to Level 0, the "endless" bonus game. Unless Start+Select is enabled, the only way out of it is to reset the game.
Just two quick things that aren't super important: in the original, the last note fades out a little in the last measure, and the bass pans back and forth between notes. Again, not super important so not really a necessary change but I thought I'd make note of it anyways.
Really nice port! Again, I'm partial towards Ito's work, but you've done it justice with this piece, and I certainly enjoyed listening to it.
