SMW Patches - On/Off switch-triggered Dark Room w/ Spotlight
This patch changes the trigger for the Dark Room w/ Spotlight sprite to trigger based on the On/Off switch status.
Upon the sprite's init, it will set the On/Off switch to the "Off" state unless another spotlight is active, in which case it deletes itself.
This patch requires no free space as it occupies either unused data in the default game or repurposes the spot where the default code is.
The inspiration comes from a brief epiphany that I had that made me realize that the red ? block sprite has literally zero purpose and I wanted to see if I could make it even more useless.
Tested with default SMW as well as an SA-1-enhanced ROM.
Removed the tag technically a bug fix, added lorom and sa1.
Definitively an interesting patch considering the on/off state is much for flexible than the red ?-block. In particular, you can combine it with codes such as Flip On/Off on LR v1.0 to control the light manually.
