Tip: Using Lunar Magic's "Change Properties in Sprite Header" dialogue, you can adjust the sprite slots in which sprites can spawn. For example, by using a sprite memory setting that doesn't use slot 07, you can easily prevent Reznor breaks in your hack.

Length: 1 exit(s)
Type: Kaizo: Expert
Description: Friends, this is a "low effort" hack I made over the course of a few weeks which takes inspiration from Kaizo:Hard and Pit hacks, however to make it palatable to human players every level is a single-screen room. The game is entirely vanilla except for a handful of quality of life patches and minor tweaks, no glitches or bugs from the original game have been fixed, in fact it may exploit them. Your progress is automatically saved at each room when you enter it (even if you reset) so you can take a break without worry. This hack is a challenge, enjoy.

This hack features:
- entirely unsampled soundtrack
- quick, promptless retry
- automatic saving even after reset
- no overworld, all levels are sequential
- expanded message boxes
- a lot of kaizo blocks

Version 1.0
- release version

Version 1.1
- ironed out some difficulty spikes and points of confusion
- fixed the bugs with message boxes

I would like to see somewhere between 7-9 sequels in no particular release order. Super cool hack ampersam!

What a fun hack, I loved every second of it. Really creative uses of funky vanilla stuffs, of which i'm a huge fan.
I'm usually not a fan of boss fights in SMW, but this one was really fun, one of my favorites maybe ever :)

Overall, a really fun hack, I'd love to see more of this in the future!
