    Description: Did an arrangement of Powell from Trials of Mana. It's been 2 years since I've started doing ports on this site, and I haven't done a single Square Enix / Final Fantasy theme. Originally, this was gonna be an exclusive for my hack I'm working on, but decided to upload it early 'cuz I really wanted to finally have a SqEnix theme on here, and I was really happy with how this turned out.

    Was just one day just thinking to myself "Hmmmm... what if Powell had actual percussion," and that's how this came to be. Really love this song a lot, despite not having played Trials of Mana (yet) and mostly hearing this game's fantastic OST in a bunch of hacks, back when Trials of Mana wasn't even an official name yet.

    Loop (630) can be condensed, as it contains the same pattern twice. Also, loops (630) and (635) are the same as (730) and (735), as far as I can tell.

    Optimization nitpicks aside, I love this song and it's neat to see your take on it. The offbeat lead is not something I would've expected, but I feel like it kind of suits the song's mysterious nature. Or maybe I've just heard the original too much and it's nice to hear a change, haha. #tb{^V^}

    I remember when Powell came up in a VGM Guessing Contest. At the time, I had no clue it was from Seiken Densetsu 3, but it's a great track, and your port does it more than justice. I love it.
