I liked a lot of this hack in the first 90% of it or so. Though I eventually gave up on dragon ooins (stars) because there seemed to be some levels where there weren't 5. Maybe I just missed 'em.

The final world got sort of really annoying with all the hammer bro spam and sparse powerups, but I got through the levels all fine and well, eventually.

Then I get to the final stage, spoilers below:

Nice that there's a midpoint right before the final boss, but the walk up to said midpoint was pretty obnoxious, and I'd say well outside of the range of 'hard' difficulty.

The boss itself I struggled to even justify calling very hard, because it seemed to just be totally RNG. Every time it felt like I was doing the right, I'd randomly get a hammer spawned in me, and die.

I think I can tank damage to get to what's probably gonna be the end of the fight, and Bowser starts firing a literal wall of hammers. Really. A seemingly unending stream of hammer death.

Sucks to me be for thinking this hack would be 'hard' difficulty up until the end, but serves me right for being hopeful.

I almost actually enjoyed this hack, but that final stage, and especially that final boss ruined it for me. And I don't have any interest in actually completing it at this point.

Thanks for trying, maybe consider making a fun boss fight next time.

Oh yeah, and the hitboxes on that fight are so horribly disjointed, that I would strongly advise just... Not using that boss. It's super janky, and unfun/unfair to play against.

Anyways after thoroughly playing it for a good month or so I was on the fence whether to accept it or not. As it the hack progresses past World 2 there is a sharp difficulty increase.

The challenge comes from the Enemies rather than the Level Design itself which is a shame as some levels feel more like gauntlets as you try to protect your power-ups so you can take more hits.
That said if you get a Cape from the Bonus Game you can fly over many levels.

Bosses were somewhat a mixed bag as they can easily be exploited such as the Ninji Boss however in its final phase it can stunlock you and be locked on to your exact position meaning either taking a hit you can't avoid or loosing a life.
With that said Earthquake Stunning is nothing new in SMWC Hacking so I can't say this hack was the only one that has done it.

The reason I've accepted it is that the negate the higher challenge of later levels we see that a lot of levels become really short which helps balance out that sharp difficulty curve.
It's not a hack for me but I can see others enjoying it despite it been a little rough around the edges. Reminds me a lot of older hacks from a decade ago.
