The Ghost's Gallery: Castle Tileset

Submission Details

Name: The Ghost's Gallery: Castle Tileset
Author: HamOfJustice
Added:
Type: Original
Purpose: Foreground
Slots Used: BG2
Palette Row(s) Used: 2, 3
Description: The brick, stone, and spike tiles that were made for the HackJam adventure "Mario and Friends in: The Ghost's Gallery", now refined, expanded, and made compatible with some of SMW's vanilla palettes.

The "outline-only" style of the brick or stone walls is optional, you can use the traditional fully-lit ones instead if you wish.

Some ground tiles are duplicated for use as slope assist tiles or ledges, if you want to do fancy arrangements with slopes. Check the Act As or Tile Surface Outline view to see what's up.

The cracked block doesn't do anything special on its own, so insert whatever behavior for it you see fit.

This tileset is a single self-contained GFX file that can be combined with any of the vanilla tilesets, if you're looking to create combinations like outdoor courtyards.

Fixed a couple of map16 errors, to make the submission match the screenshot + fix 1 8x8 tile. Looks fantastic, really excellent usage of the vanilla palettes. Fantastic work! #smrpg{<3}
