To those wondering about the music in this hack: the SPC files for the tracks used in the hack have been compiled here! Note that a few of them are unreleased (please do not ask).

To hardware players who want to practice without an emulator: since there is no support for savestates on SA-1 yet,  Kevin created a patch with built-in savestates! You can get the most recent version of it here (last update: January 30, 2022), and find a version log here.

Slightly rough around the edges at times, but overall a pretty incredible display of creativity.

persons, will have resource pack of this hack? like JUMP, YUMP, other hacks JUMP TEAM?

Some of the resources were indeed released by  Kevin in a thread during Winter C3 2022.

I'll echo my reply to a PM I received recently:

Sorry, there has not been and there will not be a public full resource pack for Czar. It was entirely up to the creators of the resources used in the hack to release them or not. I believe everything that they wanted to release is already out by this point, so I advise you to check the sections if you're looking for something specific.

Some content may be in C3 threads as well, as exemplified by Amper.

Incredible hack. I enjoyed every level, and the last level in particular is a masterpiece in my eyes. The atmosphere and amazing port set the tone right from the start. The "transition" sections were some of my favorite in the entire hack. The hub rooms felt masterfully crafted for what was expected of the player. Top it all off with a challenging (but not over the top) and creative boss fight. The fact that I've seen someone question if this level was tested RTA is as laughable as it is disrespectful to the cast of legendary creators.

Thank you to everyone involved in the making of this hack. I can only hope we see another project like this from JUMP team because this is one of my all time favorites.

Genuinely one of the best hacks I've ever played and probably the first I've ever been sad to see end. Great job Jump Team and Koopster!

A bad time overall. The hardest levels weren't the issue per se. I liked lolyoshi's piranha plant gauntlet, for instance, and wyatt's lava lotuses were fine.

But much of the midgame felt like notebook sketches that perhaps one day could be refined into actual playable levels (screenshot #1 shows a good example, morsel's level is another). Also, the creators double down on awkward gimmicks involving broken or counterintuitive controls, some of which we've seen in previous JUMP hacks while others are new horrors. My love for SMW derives mainly from its excellent controls, so I don't understand the urge to make or play this kind of stage.

By the end, I felt worn down and relieved to see the credits. The last string of levels were fine but quite hard, and the final level itself continues a bad trend of ridiculously overlong closers. There are something like 15 required sections, some of which must be completed consecutively without checkpoints. One of the sections, in an apparent "fuck you" to the player, is a kaizo remake of a level from JUMP that I'm pretty sure everyone hates (I sure do anyway). I want SMW hackers to know it's okay to make a final level that's two good sections and a boss. No one will be disappointed; it's actually better.

So yeah, didn't have much fun with this. Cool Frank Crumit song though.

how did you make that long intro message at the start?

Incredible hack, absolutely loved it. For the most part the difficulty hit the mark to me, with only a couple of exceptions that were extremely far up on the "die to learn" scale (looking at you Wyatt #ab{:P} )

Incredibly well-made hack, and an amazing project. I had the pleasure to be a tester for this hack. Congratulations Koopster and JUMP Team! Thanks once again for making such a wonderful game.
