This patch fixes an issue where Springboards teleport Mario when they turn into state 4 (killed with a spinjump state). This is a common issue when using Blockcreator's sprite killers and similar blocks.
Something like this happen but more bizarrely with the old blocktool by John Wilson long ago: A ? block containing a springboard that when hit, causes the player to repeatedly teleport up and down for a few seconds before it fully spawns and bounces the player one last time.
My guess: That's the coming out of block timer which is also used for the on-springboard timer, I think. No idea if that's really the case but that could be a potential cause.
