Description: | This hack is dedicated to my dog, a Husky named Sif. You play as Sif, a dog who wandered too far from home, and now must find her way back. Will she make it back home? Will she be taken off the path and become lost? There's only one way to find out. This is a 17 exit hack that's been an on again off again project over the span of a couple years while working on other projects, with levels from other projects that never came to light. Start Select is enabled. Shoutouts to the Captain Hacko crew, without them, this hack wouldn't be possible. V 1.1 update notes: -Brand spankin' new overworld, courtesy of para_0, who I hear is a baller -Removed a good amount of unnecessary munchers in most levels. -Added checkpoints in both Shell Go By and Castle Vanity. -Coins -Gave the final rex in Whitestone Cliffs Trail a 1F0, so it's not a blind catch. He seems happy about it. -Added mushrooms in both boss fights, granting the player an additional hit -On the subject of bosses, added a shell color coding system, or whatever, to the final boss. It's more of a Stop Light system, but I don't know what to call it. This subnote is going on too long. Moving on... -Updated screenshots, since a few initial ones were outdated before first release (opps) -Opted for a more universally known Mario/Sprite solid blocks, as to not add confusion. -Also made all 1F0 blocks look the same, also to not add confusion. -Made the second room in Where the Sidewalk Ends less strict in the first half-ish. -Trimmed down the number of hacks in the shoutouts. Added new names under the playtesters as well. |
