...Well not ENTIRELY useless. The Giant Piranha Plants are meant to be in pipes that are 3 tiles wide, not 2. So you could put a 3-tile wide pipe in the level to use it provided you have the Map16 tiles all set... Also it's fun to surprise players by putting in the plant that ignores the fact that Mario is right next to it and rises anyway.
1. SA-1 and asar conversion done;
2. Code was HEAVILY optimized:
2.1. The original sprite had two graphic routines, now condensed in one, as the only diference between them was the Y-Flip based on Extra Bit;
2.2. Shortened the speed routine, as it was duped because the Extra Bit behaviour (same as above).
3. Code is now pretty good commented.
It's fairly old sprite which hasn't been remoderated yet which means, it doesn't support SA-1.
