Can be used to make shells easier to hit or make their speed consistent. Sprites will keep their new speed even after leaving the block.

Works as intended, so, accepted. There's a little bit of room with optimization, by not needing to reload $B6 after the direction check, and using BMI to check the sign instead of CMP #$80 : BCS, but they're not rejection-worthy. Added tags and a screenshot.
