Changed tilemap to fix its grumpy expression (it didn't use a couple of provided tiles, with both eyes being mirrored, making it look rather goofy, you can see it in screenshots) and moved all tilemap related tables to the top so the user doesn't have to scroll down to edit them.
Aside from that, I noticed a few things. First, it'll hurt the player even when on Yoshi, and its vanilla hitbox that can damage yoshi is buried inside. Also, when on yoshi, bouncing off the top of it is more generous, allowing to bounce on it from the side, not really an issue, but an observation. Next, its palette can't be customized by editing config files, it uses hardcoded properties. Lastly, all the quirks present with vanilla thwomp also apply (like proximity wraparound).
