Mario's Ruined Seclusion

This was really good. The aesthetics were fantastic, loved the visuals and the music choices alike. On the gameplay side, it was a little too easy up until about the last two worlds, but was still good fun. A few of my favorite levels were Delete Water, Two Hour Delay, Slide or Die, Pencilvania Avenue, Didn't See Those, and Avoid the Walls.

My biggest criticism would be . Also, it's a pretty minor technical issue, but I noticed a couple levels didn't have the save prompt pop up afterwards (sorry, I didn't think to keep track of which ones, but there was at least one instance where that happened.) Oh, and I noticed that in a lot of levels, you quite pointedly put some way to reach the top of the end goal, but with the removal of star points, there didn't seem to be a reason to do so, unless breaking the tape when it's at the very top grants you a 1-UP or something that I missed. Not really a flaw, just something that seemed slightly curious to me.

Very good on the whole, I'll be sure to check out Daisy's Crazy Adventure, 4/5.

This is my favorite hack that I’ve played so far! A nice difficulty curve but it doesn't get frustratingly hard at the end. I enjoyed the length. The only negative thing I can think of is the at the end, but that feels minor compared to how much fun I had playing this. I will definitely play this one over and over again! Hope you make more hacks in the future!

Mario's Ruined Seclusion, along with Super Mario Horizons, Power Guy World, Mario Goes To Brazil, Super Mario Starlight, Six Pack, NSMW 1: 12 Magic Orbs Powered Up & Mario In Mushroom Rix Land 4 Trip To Nano Island (My SMW Romhack video game) are the best 10/10 SMW Romhack video games in 2023!!!!!!

Really fun, short and sweet hack, It has this Mario 1 kind of purity to it that makesit fun to run through. None of the levels are too complex although things do get pretty interesting throughout in some levels. It's just good ol Mario with some cool new twists and ideas. Its almost hard to believe this whole hack is vanilla gameplay wise.

Fantastic way of showcasing level ideas coupled with amazing use of vanilla assets to create unique aesthetics. Each level is memorable in some sort of way. This hack has some great flow in how it presents its ideas. I can easily recommend this hack for anyone who wants a chill experience with some small doses of challenge.

Finished this one in about two hours, the level design and level ideas are great and its a very fun experience overall!

Fabulous work with this hack! I really love the overall mood. Question: from which other games tracks for the very first level come from, and what about the second level (mansion). I've heard almost every gaming soundtracks, especially SNES ones, and I never heard those tracks unless they were composed by your team.

Fantastic hack. I appreciated the attention to graphical detail and the reuse of vanilla tiles to make new graphics (e.g. brambles). Level design was also fun and gimmicky while being predominantly vanilla. Would recommend this to anyone starting out or looking for an easier hack.
