Great level design and aesthetics. Lots of love by an amazing community went into this. Clearly not enough sticky ceiling though, 2/5

fun hack. not sure why it's being review bombed on here, i'd say it's a 5/5 hack but i tend to like long sections and tight jumps (which are abundant in this hack), and those aren't for everyone

Good hack, levels have flow, great music, nice overworld, good level design. However "green hell" is extremly salty and frustrating (level design is a 1/5), that's where the hack ends for me, 4/5 (without green hell i think it's a 5/5)
** I could only see the last level in a VOD

Really great hack, nice aesthetics and fun platforming

I really appreciate the care and effort that went into this hack. It's very clear that a lot went into the aesthetics, overworld and flow. The creators clearly put in an effort in the level design.

That being said, the hack is laden with artificial difficulty, frustrating spawn dependency, tight spaces and particularly frustrating muncher/obstacle placement that rendered many levels painful to play. In every level, it felt like slight modifications could've been easily communicated in playtesting that would've made each level so much more enjoyable and playable. Having playtested numerous hacks for other creators, it was frustrating to see.

Other may enjoy this hack for all the hard work that went in but it was not for me.

I noped out after 8 exits. While I enjoyed Mario Is Too Casual well enough, I can't say I enjoyed much here. The level design feels too cramped, a problem I had with Casual as well, but which is exacerbated here. I struggled to find flow in the levels, in part because the cramped design forces awkward movements. I found myself dying often to ceiling munchers that imo served no purpose, especially the many ceiling munchers on regrab jumps that punish the player for doing the move efficiently.

I also found the custom block use excessive. It made levels difficult to read visually. In general, I felt not enough thought went into levels' readability. There is a fair bit of magic spawning stuff from the right side of the screen that the player has to just trust-fall on to. Things like the distracting falling lava in the shell level or the foreground blocking your view in the ghost house are very frustrating. I get that creators want their levels to look cool, but imo, clarity for gameplay has to come first.

Anyway, I hope this doesn't come across too harsh. I'm trying to be constructive. I love SMW, and appreciate all the effort hack creators put in that I could never do. So thanks for making regardless of my opinion.
