Description: the rare easier sequel, this is a single level of intermediate vanilla content centered around the backwards checkpoint system seen in Retrograde Eight (the final level of my first hack, Trans Liberation Forever) where every death sends you back by one checkpoint.

each segment can be jumped between freely for any purpose; there is no save system.

and of course, in keeping with tradition, there's also a fully checkpointless mode if you're into that kind of thing. :-)

hi, the previous version (1.01) had one broken tape because of an oversight. sorry about that. should be good now. wasn't able to fix the level being kinda mid though.

Excellent paltforming as always. Love the gimmick, hope it will be used in more hacks in the future.

I Really liked this level, the way it puts everything theoretically on the line makes it so much more exciting. excited to see more of your stuff in the future!!

a most pleasant excursion, per usual. enjoyed playing both in retrograde mode and checkpointless. maybe someday i will tackle the namesake.

Fun level but the way the gimmick works is weird and almost feels like it is broken. The most recent checkpoint you got does not count until you collect the next one. So you collect #3 -> #4 -> die and get sent back to #3 instead of #4.

yes, this is exactly how it's intended to work, and how it works in the original level. tape 4 sets you to respawn at 3, respawning at 3 sets you to respawn at 2, and so on. so no checkpoint is permanent and you essentially have to progress twice as much as you fall back.
