I've finished this romhack and i'm putting it on youtube, this is definitely one of my favorites, not too hard but not too easy and not overreliant on the same trick over and over again (expect maybe the shell jump but it wasn't hard to learn) definitely a must to play

I had a lot of fun with this hack. Worked fine in snes9x for me. I think this hack really does the difficulty curve perfectly--from beginner to very low intermediate. Lots of forgiving setups that can be reset (L+R is available). For me, there were two levels that had the hardest tricks right before midway/goal -- that's unfun. Also, there are a couple issues with Mario being above the screen or deathblocks/munchers being above the visible screen. Nothing too crazy, looking forward to the next one!

Bugs:
1. If I press start on the overworld while the level name is still printing, the game crashes.
2. Sometime during my playthrough the back ground on the overworld/submap went black. Didn't affect the level/progression, and resetting the game fixed it.
3. Some bullet bill spawners (the bottom ones in a stack) render the bullet bill a block lower than it should when it fires, then it moves back up.

This definitely seemed intermediate to me, and I see now that is a tag, but it was submitted as beginner? Anyways, with the intermediate difficulty in mind, this hack is good fun! Shell tech abounds but is never too rough save the
disco staircase
. All in all, good job! Thanks for making.

Also, is this SA-1? That would seem to explain the issues some have had with it. It would not save state on my FXpak so it seems so.

i had it under intermediate but the moderator felt it was high beginner and changed it to beginner and yes it is using SA-1. Thank you for playing!

Didn't work in Retroarch, but did in stand alone snes9x. First few levels were so annoying I wanted to quit with too much going on and deaths feeling unfair. Later the hack took a turn for the better and the rest was great. Glad I pushed through.

OK. I started playing it. Do you really need the bullet bills, the fire, and the sticky ceiling in the second level? Also, the two consecutive fire pipes a little after the winged platform are sometimes out of sync. If that happens, the player either can't make it through because of that, or the player gets hit with a random bullet bill. Please do something. In all honesty, that level has way too much going on.

90% of the obstacles in this hack are broken. Main reason seems to be that it assumes that you can only jump 4 tiles high. It was pretty fun to play because of that.

Only tested on Snes9x, but both patches worked for me as well.

Using US version 1.0

seems to work fine for me as well.

The guitar sound in the goal music does not sound. Orchestral hits sound.
Please correct this from AddMusicK.

Contrary to the others, the patches do work for me. Very curious.

Same for me. Tried patching both the instant retry patch and the retry prompt patch. Doesn't seem to be playable

I have tested the patch with different SMW roms and they worked. could it be the roms you are using?
