Description: "Brave New World 2" (BNW2) is the sequel to Brave New World (https://smwc.me/s/30248) and is dedicated to BraveToazter.

BNW2 contains a total of 100 rooms across 26 exits, with 13 exits for Any% (no secrets/palaces). Most levels are 5-7 rooms in length.

Just like its predecessor, BNW2 is a showcase of glitches that exist within Super Mario World engine.
Some of these glitches (commonly found in "Kuso" hacks) can be extremely precise and require frame-perfect inputs.
My intent was to make the execution of glitches as simple as possible while still being challenging and fun.
Though the custom ASM & graphics prevent BNW2 from being a completely "vanilla" hack, the glitch tech involved *is* vanilla and can be reproduced in the base game.

The FIO™ hint system has returned to help players understand obscure glitch tech: Press SELECT in any room (even at the "Retry" prompt) for a detailed explanation of how to complete the room.

You get automatic midways at every screen transition (door/pipe), except when the room contains an actual midway bar. All checkpoints are saved to SRAM automatically.
Secrets can be found in the first room of marked levels (red dots on overworld).

Derv is truly in a league of his own when it comes to making the kuso style accessible to everyone. Living up to the insane quality of the original hack is one thing, but this sequel takes everything that made the predecessor so great and gives us even more. The visuals are beautiful, the soundtrack is bangin', the execution is satisfying, and the fantastic FIO™ system is there to help along the way if needed. Amazing work derv :)

You've done it again! I had so much fun start to finish! This takes the same concept from the first game but explores totally different mechanics which were awesome to learn about. I really liked the rooms that were more trick based as well, in the shell level in particular. Awesome work again, ez 5/5

A truly joyful celebration of SMW's weirder side. The hint system makes learning the glitches approachable and fun while not being so cut and dry that the player feels as if they have no agency or have nothing to figure out on their own.

Easily one of my favorite hacks. "Eat key with butt".

Hats of derv, you have an ability to bridge the gap between traditonal kuso style and modern hacks, you make obscure glitches and tricks, smooth, aproachable and fun. There are very few things in this hack that is overwhelming except for a possible brain melt of knowledge overload.
For any new players, dont be afraid, the expert tag might lie a bit also as most of this hack is intermediate, this is the kindest expert hack that will ever be and derv will hold your hand all the way through if that would be needed, guaranteeing a most enjoyable player experience with bangin visuals and soundtrack. And most likely when you are done with this, you will be a bit wiser. Thanks for making this.

My joy upon seeing this has been released today, my birthday no less, is utterly immeasurable. Just a few exits in and I love it. Thank you for making these accessible with that hint system. I always learn a ton of new things and pull off glitches and tricks I never thought I'd be able to do.
