A beautiful, heartful hack. It's apparent that a lot of love went in to this!

This is something a newly trained kaizo player can sink their teeth in to, and put their skills to work.

I got pretty bad slowdown at the peak of the optional stage, where you are tasked with a double-shelljump. It was making my timing impossible, so with a heavy heart I save-stated just before the double-shelljump. This was on a real Japanese SFC with SD2SNES/FxPak Pro flash cart. If this is fixed somehow, I'll re-do it without savestating, for realsies. <3

But also that disco shell can go to hell #wario{X_X} hahaha

Fun levels and funny dialogue, but not so much that it breaks the pacing. Lots of extra details that make it all the more charming. The non-traditional branching path system is fresh and interesting and implemented perfectly.

I'm glad I had some help. There was a part I could not figure out myself. 5/5

I saw this happen to another player and unfortunately it's 100% the emulator. Something about the emulator not knowing what to do with uncleared sprites (I don't know the specifics). Recommend you switch to any other emulator (SNES9x?) and transfer the save file. I'm hoping a fix in 1.1 will correct the issue but tbh, I don't really understand the issue, as every other emulator is fine. I'm also told this is not an uncommon issue with hacks being played on the Bsnes.
Hope that helps, and cheers! :)

Yep, SNES9X works. Good to know; thanks!

I've finished the 3 main routes now, just need to get the secret route... Though I'm not sure I'm going to do that right now. I looked it up, and I know where to go to start it, but I accidentally went into the pipe, which is... Well, annoying, because now, in order to get back to the previous room, I need to either rebeat the ocean route, or start a new file and rebeat the forest route - neither of which is ideal. It'd be nice if you could Start/Select to warp back to the hub area (and also just pause in general - I don't know why that was removed).

Beyond that, great hack; I enjoyed it!

I've been enjoying this thus far, but I've bumped into a huge problem...

In the city route, near the start of the first room where the factory song from Donkey Kong Country plays, there's a rope. Upon grabbing this rope, it falls a certain distance... And then everything but the music freezes. It seems to be impossible to progress past this point.

Anyone know what might be causing this? I'm guessing it's an emulator issue since no one else is mentioning it, but not sure what's causing it... Using bsnes v115.

Me too. I really liked the hack, but I had this problem. I'm using Bizhawk with BSNES core. I had problems using BSNES core in mole's level on Hark Bros too.

I'm intrigued to play this! I didn't know you make romhacks too lol

Fun hack. Starts out almost too easy. I wasn't willing to search aimlessly for the 4th ending. It's a shame.

This is a really fun hack, easy recommend. 5/5.

Everything about this hack is delightful. I'm only about 10 or so kaizo hacks into my SMW life, but this has set the bar incredibly high.

Thoroughly impressed with the boss fight found from jumping in the water at the brewery and the entire secret area when the main hub is covered in snow. I genuinely had a fantastic time playing this - thank you!

Despite me being terrible at Kaizo, I had a ton of fun with this hack. A challenging but very fun playthrough.
I love the graphics especially
the cute little Boos holding a glass <3
.
Really enjoyed the story, lots of funny moments. I won't spoil it here.

5/5

Super fun hack with lots of humour! Many cute details,
for example the raincoat Chuck and the koopas with sunglasses
and a very nice overall aesthetic. Difficulty curve is good with the three different paths all having their own challenges. Recommended for beginners looking for something a little more challenging, with the third part leaning towards the higher end of beginner, and those looking for something chill and lighthearted.
