Unlock routes, meet new friends, and awaken your kaizo skills on what is likely Mario's most vital mission yet: avoiding to pay for drinks! Features: - Mostly vanilla beginner romhack suitable for both new and experienced kaizo players - Unlockable routes of progressive difficulty, up to three unique courses! - Four unlockable endings, including a secret "true" ending - Progressive save feature; pick up right where you left off! - Interactive characters old and new, with a charming narrative - Custom artwork - Post-credit content Remember: last one to the pub buys THE FIRST ROUND! Good luck! NOTE: Hack is reportedly incompatible with BSNES due to the way uncleared sprites are treated. Recommend using another emulator. ------------------------------------------------------ Version 1.11 update - Fixed rare teleport glitches - Slight tweaks to remove cheese - Some graphic fixes - Simplified Ending 4 |

For compatibility, I was on bSNES until the rope glitch in the city level, swapped over to RetroArch with the SNES9x core at that point and carried on till the end. Minor annoyance, but not the creators fault. Same thing happened with the mole level in Hark bros as an earlier commenter mentioned.
GLHF
Yes, BSNES has been an issue with other players, there is something that this emulator does differently to others that breaks the game. I tried installing a fix into 1.11 but it appears not to have worked. Recommend switching to any other emulator and transferring over the save.
Also, I was curious about the SNES9x v1.60 not loading, so I downloaded v1.60 myself and it seems to work fine? Perhaps maybe re-installing SNES9x v1.60 in case something's amiss?
Hope that helps.
This is something a newly trained kaizo player can sink their teeth in to, and put their skills to work.
But also that disco shell can go to hell hahaha
I'm glad I had some help. There was a part I could not figure out myself. 5/5
I saw this happen to another player and unfortunately it's 100% the emulator. Something about the emulator not knowing what to do with uncleared sprites (I don't know the specifics). Recommend you switch to any other emulator (SNES9x?) and transfer the save file. I'm hoping a fix in 1.1 will correct the issue but tbh, I don't really understand the issue, as every other emulator is fine. I'm also told this is not an uncommon issue with hacks being played on the Bsnes.
Hope that helps, and cheers!
Yep, SNES9X works. Good to know; thanks!
I've finished the 3 main routes now, just need to get the secret route... Though I'm not sure I'm going to do that right now. I looked it up, and I know where to go to start it, but I accidentally went into the pipe, which is... Well, annoying, because now, in order to get back to the previous room, I need to either rebeat the ocean route, or start a new file and rebeat the forest route - neither of which is ideal. It'd be nice if you could Start/Select to warp back to the hub area (and also just pause in general - I don't know why that was removed).
Beyond that, great hack; I enjoyed it!
Anyone know what might be causing this? I'm guessing it's an emulator issue since no one else is mentioning it, but not sure what's causing it... Using bsnes v115.
