The submission has been updated, it no longer relies on a separate patch to fix wall-running on screen boundaries. I also moved the custom block into a separate folder so it looks more organised. There appears to be a glitch were you may start wall-running and clip into a wall and potentially die, though it's exceptionally rare. It's most likely the same issue as clipping into a wall for a frame-perfect wall jump (this patch aims to fix that issue). Also, note that wallrunning is broken in levels where layer 2 and/or 3 are interactable, which is a vanilla bug (once again, there's a patch to fix). Aside from that, a pretty cool idea for a uberasm.
I can do the mini mushroom from LX5 custom powerups have now the ability to run into walls!
