However, it didn't appear for me because I had collected a certain coin near the end of level 1CF, two sublevels ago. It's because that coin and the Yoshi coin that failed to show up for me are both at X position A5 on subscreen 0, and both sublevels are set to Item Memory Index 0, so the game thinks I already had collected the Yoshi coin as a result.
To fix this, simply change the Item Memory Index of level 1D1 to any other value.
Also, it would probably be a good idea to give the player a fresh time limit when they reach the boss of MH Nano Final Tower.
In a 2-player game, pressing L or R on the overworld to bring up the lives-sharing window causes the black window graphics to freak out. (This might be similar to what Amethyst was mentioning about the retry window.)
In Windy Field, jumping on the Fan Fiends can cause the player to get hurt, usually if the player just does a bunch of short bounces on them in a row. Doing high bounces from them seems to make it less likely the player will take an unfair hit.
In Sunshine Beach, a few graphics on the HUD at the top of the screen are glitched.
The Lava Lotuses in places like Thunderstorm Castle cannot be killed with a shell, which is particularly annoying because their homing pollen is difficult to avoid, and they fire it more frequently than I'd consider to be reasonable.
a few end game levels (notably the level with the rain gfx and the hookshot section of the final level) have a retry prompt that flashes quite a bit on hardware: not quite to the level where i'd add an epilepsy warning but i thought it would be prudent to note it
in addition, there's several levels in the back quarter of the game that have a lot of back and forth thwomps that produce a *lot* of screenshake that was hard on my eyes. if there's a rix land 5, i would recommend looking into removing screenshake for visual accessibility's sake
overall, an interesting hack, a lot of late game gimmicks that weren't my cup of tea and i really wish there was another checkpoint in the final level, but there was clearly a ton of work and love that goes into these hacks and i appreciate you for that
I really enjoy this series of hacks, great work Enan63 10/10
