Disable Overworld Event Path Fade Per Event

SMW Patches → Disable Overworld Event Path Fade Per Event

Submission Details

Name: Disable Overworld Event Path Fade Per Event

Requires Free Space: Yes
Bug Fix: No
Featured: No
Description: This patch allows you to disable the Overworld event path fade effect on an event basis, if you want to keep the effect but you can't use it for some event for GFX/palette constraints. To do so edit the "path_fade_enabled" table in the asm file (one digit for each event, use 0 to disable it).
Make sure to not disable the effect in Lunar Magic's extra options or it won't work.

Wait a minute, if the first four palettes are used in the OW, won't they get affected by the event path fade? Or is there something I'm missing?
