Absolutely forgot to mention this in my moderation comment, but there's also this issue with the dolphin tails showing up when they're offscreen in Crystal Fortress.

Applying this tweak should fix it.

This hack has two secret exits that are really difficult to find, with either strange or no indications to how they can be found. I'm respectively talking about
Crystal Cave 1
and
Yoshi's House
, which for the latter I didn't stumble onto any type of hint towards a secret exit, and so I needed to open the hack on Lunar Magic to make sure I didn't miss anything. I believe future versions of this hack would benefit plenty of better indicated secret exits.

Other things worth noting are:
- The hack suffers with slowdown a bit too often on World 2 onwards.
- This flashing koopa shell in Koopa Town 1 just hits the player out of sudden since the camera is still catching up with the player; this can be fixed easily by moving it a little further, at least until the player can tell what's around them once they get to this part of the level.
- Slight sprite tilemap issue in Crystal Ghost House.

Other than that, I think the hack plays alright. Most of the time it feels like enemies are placed just to be in the way of the player, but barely in an engaging manner. Crystal Secret 2 was a quite fun level in contrast to most of the others in the hack, so there's certainly plenty to learn from it and make more fun levels for future versions of this hack.

Thanks for the feedback. The secret exit in Yoshi's House is intended to be difficult to be found because it will be the pathway to the special world. However, I think that if players pay attention to what's on the overworld, they will be able to notice that there's an island underneath the level so they should be able to figure out that there's an exit. Of course not everyone can notice this so I will definitely add some hints in future levels. As for Crystal Cave 1's secret exit, I agree that it might be too hard for a world 2 level and I will surely modify it to make it becomes a little bit easier.

How does one get 23 exits? I got all marked exits in worlds 1 and 2, and beat both available levels in world 3, and cannot proceed past the ghost house because it looks like the end of the demo. That's only 18 exits.

Did you get the secret exit in Yoshi's House? Are you sure that you completed the Crystal Secret levels? Also there are yellow and red switch palaces in world 1 and 2.

I liked it a lot but i felt like the difficulty picked up immediately and a few of the levels were kinda crazy in terms of what the expected from the player. (eg the ice level and water level in avoiding the footballs/normal rip van fishes) If it were labeled hard id probably give it five stars. Otherwise, amazing hack; excited for the future releases.

Wow,this is one of the best vanilla hacks i've ever seen.

This is fantastic, the level design was top notch, introduced new enemies not in the original at the right time, secrets were fun to find, and THE MUSIC IS INCREDIBLE. This is a great hack and I'm looking forward to see more.

You should've used the p switch to get out. Anyways, I will add a reset door then.
