Description: | Memento Mori is an intermediate platforming hack with a few gimmicks thrown in. There are 2 different paths you can choose to play throughout the game. There have been too many things that have bothered me about the original version of this hack I made almost 3 years ago. So I finally decided to completely remake it using the Flux baserom. It is still the same hack, but almost every level has setups tweaked or redesigned. I also massively overhauled the aesthetics and used some new ports. If you never played this before, I hope you like it. If you are familiar with the original version, I hope you can appreciate all the changes. Thanks LightAligns for the awesome boxart. Thank you for playing. The truth is out there. |

100% is really worth the effort IMO. Elegy and Redux were extremely fun levels. I literally couldn't get enough of this hack.
Hands down my absolute favorite hack so far, 5/5
Another amazing hack from Saela, I liked this one even more than Silencio. Definitely check it out!! Thanks Saela!!
Final Rating = 5/5 - A must play!
The 8 other reviews for this hack (and its previous version) do suggest that. Hope you feel better.
The aesthetics and the largely droning soundtrack definitely diminished my ability to appreciate the hack. For me, Mario is my happy escape from work, but the atmosphere of this hack is quite grim. Outside of the standout levels, I couldn't get in a good mood while playing. Maybe it's just me.
I thoroughly enjoyed the pure platforming as well as the various ASM used throughout the hack. The
Great work and I can't wait to see what you come up with next!
