    well, pretty much the music with beeps on will act like an automatic on and off switch, when you hear the third beep, prepare to switch.
    you can use any kind of on/off block with it, like the one I used in the test video above, I made myself.

    Dark Mario Bros It appears that the song runs the beeps at a period of 8 beats. After the modulo result (which causes the beat value to range from 0-7). Assuming the total song length is a multiple of 8 beats, syncing should be a problem. Make the beeps at values (after modulo) 5-6 and the on/off at 0.

    Yeah but when you grab or lose a power up, it messes with the tempo.
    And when using a p-switch or a starman, it's disabled and doesn't have the right timing when the music restarts.
    At least I think so, I haven't tested it yet, unless it's also configurable.

    I really don't get all that complex stuff, all I can say is how long it takes for each switch activation, which is exactly two whole notes or 384 ticks.
    as in the song's first loop it goes

    basically every two whole notes 1 switch, 23 switches happens before looping back to the start. the first activation is right as the song start but the sfx is muted on the first loop.

    Just to let you know, AMK does have a rhythm mechanic, here is an example that have a leftover and check my comment to have a working code.
