Description:	When productive procrastination meets hyper fixation. Super Thesis World is a quick, forgiving, and fun kaizo hack I made when I was supposed to be working on my grad school thesis. Full of secrets, puzzles, and bad jokes! A silly hack made by a silly guy. I hope you enjoy. 7/30/2024: Reuploaded with lots of small fixes and repairs. - Bridge Level rope had several issues - Adjusted coin paths in several levels - Added several fail safes for the puzzle component - General improvements all around, some decheesing here and there - Fixed Mario's Overworld location and pathing (playtesting error) 8/01/2024: 1.2 Update: - Several puzzle components have been reworked to be more in line with descriptions, etc - Improved message block and coin indications across entire hack. - The dropper section (if you played you know the one) has simply been removed - I've relocated secrets because I love them too much to be missed - One particularly unreasonable secret exit has been moved to be more generous - A few jumps were unnecessarily tight, they've been improved. - Timings for some places have been improved with slight reworks. Just finished your hack, it was decent. I wasn't a big fan of the first level due to some jank and precise jumps I encountered but everything after that was enjoyable. I think the highlights for me were the sky tree and p-switch levels and the final castle for its creativity. Also the song selection was pretty good too.

I've seen a handful of playthroughs at this point, read RXDARK and Kimota's comments, and received a few PMs with feedback. Working right now on a 1.2 update to address some of the particularly egregious jank and also to fix up the more annoying parts of the hack. I deeply appreciate the feedback!

edit: 1.2 update has been submitted - I recommend downloading that version from the waiting section. Thanks again y'all <3

It's a decent hack. Some jank here and there as mentioned in this hack. Played version 1.1.

Review with some spoilers: Show/Hide

- Rope level had something invisible that could kill you if you jump too high, hit it when jumping off a brown platform onto the rotating gray platforms below.
- The puzzles were ok, nothing too complicated
- Sometimes in the sky tree level and the p-switch level the screen wouldn't scroll up fast enough for me to see what I was doing
- The dropper section of The Secret Passage was really annoying compared to the rest of this hack, this is probably more of a just a dropper thing in general, they tend to be annoying.
- The last level was cool, liked the offline dinosaur game section

Pretty solid hack overall.

Neat hack, but a little rough around the edges (I did play the latest version). Aside from the puzzle, it looks and plays like a hack from earlier times. There are stacked munchers in the first level lol. There were a number of spots where the graphics glitched out or had weird artifacts. I got out of bounds a few times just looking for secrets. I didn't see any cheese, but the player simply should not be able to do that. There's a secret exit at the very end of a level, which is kind of a no-no. It's not like these things ruin the hack, but they do contribute to a dated and unpolished feel.

Despite these criticisms, I did have fun. The obstacles are consistent with relatively forgiving level design. The puzzle was cute and not overly cryptic. There was a charm and whimsy to the hack that won me over as I played. Overall, a solid first hack; I hope you make more.
