Due to being based on G(al)oomba Tower, this sprite inherits all of the same quirks:
-You can't kill any individual bob-omb to make the tower collapse (e.g. shell kill).
-Inconsistent yoshi interaction (sometimes the player gets hurt, other times yoshi)
-Doesn't react to cape.
-The sprite is inedible (and again, can't lick any of the bob-ombs in the tower).
-Does not set gravity when grounded proper, which means it'll fall down quickly when going off ledge (though surprisingly it seems to work with slopes correctly).
-You can stomp the bob-omb tower from any vertical positon as long as you have downward speed (yes, even from below).
-Does not react to bounce block and quake sprites.
That said, I think the sprite is...fine. Would've been nice if these quirks were addressed, but then you'd have to correct them in the source material, and I can imagine some of them would be quite complicated to fix.
Removed mention of Extended No Sprite Tile Limits from the description. That patch does not affect explosion in any way. If you notice graphical issues like that, No More Sprite Tile Limits, SA-1 or a correct Sprite Memory index setting are your best buddies.
