Description: A short 9 level (10 exit, with credits) hack that I made because I got fed up with messing around with my larger hack and had ideas for levels I didn't want to include in it. The hack is a mixture of vanilla and chocolate mechanics. While the focus was on platforming, there are shell and item tricks in many of the levels. I believe the hack sits squarely in the middle of intermediate difficulty but the creator is rarely able to tell how hard their creation is, so take that with a grain of salt!

There are a total of 3 block/key jumps, for people that hate those, and 4 unmarked kaizo blocks, for people who hate those. There are no secret exits or puzzles. There might be a few trolls as well...

Hopefully you enjoy playing the hack!

Version 1.1:
- Replaced some fish/dolphins in level 2 to remove some sporadic instances of lag.
- Updated a section of level 3 to make the intended path much more clear.
- Changed the second half of level 6 so that the setup at the very beginning is more intuitive.
- Fixed some aesthetic issues in level 8.
- Made what was intended in the first half of level 9 more clear.
- Removed some cheese in the second half of level 9 and made a setup more consistent.

Version 1.2:
- Added a message box in level 2 to explain how to stay on a disco shell in water.
- Added a muncher at the end of level 3 to remove some cheese.
- Disabled the down button in level 4 to prevent unintended duck jumps.
- Added some indication to level 8 and made some timings more lenient.
- Fixed some cheese in level 9 and prevented some strange sprite interactions.

A wonderful hack that's full of great ideas. I'd say the difficulty is halfway between firmly intermediate and firmly expert.

I had a great time playing through this one. There's a nice blend of both vanilla and chocolate ideas throughout. The platforming is always the main focus and it's quite satisfying. The overworld is really charming as well. The difficulty is very approachable. I'd compare it to hacks like El Dorado and Luminescent.

Fun hack. The first two levels I found annoying, with a lot of precise stuff like landing on falling enemies and that slow disco shell which is very frustrating until you figure out you can ride it while neutral on the dpad. Subsequent levels got steadily more enjoyable. I'm wondering if the order the levels appear is the order in which they were made. It would make sense that the creator is building their skills. By the end, I was solidly on board and ready for more Loco hacks. Very nice first hack overall.

As an aside, I would say it is firmly Expert difficulty.
