I thought this hack was good, but I don't think it lived up to how much I enjoyed Hack 0. I enjoyed the creepier atmosphere but don't think it was as creepy as Hack 0 was. Hack 0 felt like it leaned into that creepiness more with the entity talking directly to you through the game, the more weird and unsettling background images and music, and the more desolate feeling through the game that I don't think this one had.

The gimmicks in each level were interesting. I never felt anything was really hard, compared to other Hack series games. It felt on the shorter side with only a handful of levels. With only a few levels I think they could have stood to be longer, or more difficult than they were.

This was a more self contained story that only references hack 0 at the start. I enjoyed the hidden files in each level, they were not that hard to find except for one that took me a lot longer. The endings giving you more clues was fun, the puzzle itself was not difficult to solve once you had all the pieces, the prologue pretty much tells you what to look for. I think that first clue could have been more obscure and make you have to work it out more.

Moderated without issue, and found all exits (with some LM exploring). I added the suggestive dialogue tag to present a warning, as this hack has considerable thematic elements of violence/murder.
