Description: This romhack was designed with accessibility in mind. My intention was to create a hack hard enough for beginners to grind, but easy enough a more skilled player could breeze through it. I kept the project small on purpose to not overwhelm myself during the learning process, and designed a small world with 7 levels. Each of the levels has it's own unique theme, and the difficulty curves with progression. All levels were short enough I felt checkpoints weren't necessary.

Solid beginner hack. Pretty good changes from the pervious version. Should be a good hack for newcomers to kaizo.

An amazing reprise of a great original trilogy with fantastic updates to Mario, pallets and colours to backgrounds. Still very fun to play again and again. Great upgrades Gravy. Thank you for all that you do and not just for SMW hacks!

Gravy's Smoked Fish and Cabbage trilogy hits so much harder than you could ever imagine, and it all started right here with the primary entry. Gravy has breathed new life into his very first SMW ROM hack and made it even better. Some new setups have been added which make gameplay and level flow work very well together. The colors used in this hack work so well together. The levels feel alive. This is a must-play for anyone just starting out on their Kaizo journey, and even seasoned players alike.
