Description: This program is an unofficial build of Snes9x, which fixes Snes9x's implementation of the SA-1's bank switch registers to honor bit 7 (previously it would act as though the bit was always on). This means that by placing the values 4,5,6,7 in $2220-$2223, you can access all 8MB of a 64Mbit ROM at the same time without any further bank switching required.

This build also restores the ExLoROM map to 64Mbits, as it appears to have been accidently reduced to 48Mbits in the current 1.5x series of Snes9x.

Since he still supports Lunar Magic and updates regularly then he probably doesn't want other people to make a bunch of forks of LM because then people would be using the fork versions instead of his version. That's my guess.

For SA-1 users, this custom build is no longer needed, but it's still useful for who want to use Lunar Magic's 64Mbits ExLoROM.

@hobbledehoy899 yes, since Snes9x 1.54

It works.

Do you know a game or hack that is affected by that bug? If so, I suppose, you could quickly verify that by testing it in both versions of Snes9x.

Has Snes9x's implementation of the SA-1's bank switch registers been fixed in the new Snes9x versions released since this custom build's release?

Neat "tool" for SA-1 abusers.
