Tip: Layer 3 backgrounds and tides disappear when you hit a message box, so unless you apply this fix, plan your level around that. For example, you can add a sublevel without layer 3 at the start/midpoint, and include your message there.

Description: The development team of SMW remembered to push everything important onto the stack during NMI so nothing would get screwed up...except for the scratch RAM addresses $00-$04, which are used during some DMA routines. This has the potential to crash the game under certain rare circumstances, so I put together this simple fix.
