Here's the poster child to Way of the M, Infinity Edge.
This time around, there's more dabbling into non-vanilla material (graphics) and now, even cutscenes (Press Up to advance these).
In this hack, Mario hears of this town hero named Alex Daxx. Daxx had quite the scandal and since then, has gone missing. Daxx's friend, Dover wants you to search for him while you're in the small continent of Delg. Prepare for the sickest storyline yet in my hacks (not sure if anyone topped this before me in hacks.)
The hack is short (4 worlds) and gets hard quicker because of that, so just a fair warning, though it's not Way of the M difficult. It has ten kudos moons and a checklist to go with them (just like WotM), so as a bonus challenge, try searching for them.
Also, rumor has it that the dark sword Stormbringer was in fact being held in Lethamyr...
This version was made mainly to fix music crashes in Infernal Feel Zone and Plasma Processing. The difficulty was also relabeled as Hard, and a few other things were fixed along the way.
Overall, if you enjoyed way of the m, then you'll for sure love this hack as well. It's got the same level design as that hack, except that it isn't as lengthy obviously (as in exit count. Some levels are quite lenghty).
My biggest gripe with this hack are the cutscenes that would get tedious very quickly. Especially in the later levels because you would have to go through at least 5+ door entries just to get another attempt. All this does is slow down the player, possibly demotivating them from trying to complete this hack without tools. If there was a way to skip the many door entries (cutscenes), that would have been way more beneficial. Then, there's a few flashy levels that are just bad for the eyes that I didn't enjoy at all (especially the spammy blue switch palace with the god awful flickering gimmick)
I still enjoyed some parts of this hack, even if I had some frustrating moments (mainly from the tedious cutscenes). I would suggest changing the difficulty to standard:very hard for this one. This can be fun for a few people, but if you didn't enjoy way of the m, I'd suggest staying away from this
