Tip: Switch palace switches normally disappear if you replay the level. However, if you insert them as direct Map16 and use the hex-edit at $00EEB2 in the ROM map, you can replay the level without a problem.

Details for Super Mario World Master Quest 3: The Adventure Of Mario
I made an account so I could review this rom - I really love it! I always liked SMB 3 for the Nintendo and hearing the sound effects and music from that game really got me going while playing. I really love the fast pipe additions to the rom - they're nicely done! I experience some veeery slight lag in some areas of levels (I noticed it usually happens when there are a lot of sprites on the screen, can simply change the settings myself tbh) really great work! The spries look good, the level design so far looks pretty good. No complaints so far. I am looking forward to playing this with my boyfriend in the coming weeks - he never got the chance to play any smb games or rom hacks for that matter, so this would be a great introduction to this side of the rom hacking community. Keep up the good work!
I really enjoyed this hack ! Levels are well designed, loved the SMB3 feeling, some new bosses are great and difficulty is well balanced, as I could figure out to find all 100 exits without using savestates.
For that matter, if I counted right aren't they 102 exits instead of 100 ? As the 2 levels of Castle of Bowser (FD and BD) are "goalable" (and no ending credits after beating them), they count for 2 and I counted 102 exits in total. I cant' be totally sure as, at the tile screen, it shows me the old count of exits : *96. However, I restarted emulator after finishing these 2 levels, and it showed me 2 exits more than I used to have before (at the time 84 instead of 82). After that I had to do all Star World (10 exits) and Special World (8 exits), so 84 + 10 + 8 = 102 if I'm right.
