This Magikoopa sits in one place, repeatedly firing magic. It disappears whenever Mario gets near and reappears when he goes away. Unlike the normal Magikoopa, several of these can be active at once and after getting killed (by a thrown sprite, for instance), they do not respawn.
Note that the position of the sprite in Lunar Magic is where its head appears, so it should be placed one tile above the floor you want it to stand on.
Check the ASM file for customization options.

Rather nice sprite, but it seems to spawn a normal magikoopa for me after it is killed. I'm not sure why, but it happened while I was testing a level with it.

Converted to PIXI and added SA-1 compatibility.
This sprite has a few OAM issues (its wand sometimes disappears). Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out exactly why that happens, so it isn't fixed.
