Tip: When determining a time limit, remember that players won't be as familiar with the level as you are. If you normally complete the level with the timer around 100, others might run out of time on their first try.
My first project. I had already made some levels before but my ROMs have been neglected. One day I asked Lexator, the creator of NADOR quest, if he could give me a Shy-Guy, because NADOR is really successful! Thus began my project. The levels are in a beta version and can be modified.
- Custom blocks
- Custom sprites (a few)
- Custom musics
- Special C3 OW
Honestly, this hack is best described as an incoherent mess. At first I thought it was kind of endearing how the player is a shy guy and how the powerups were replaced with related items, but the hack itself turned out to be rather chaotic. The overworld looks flat and unfinished and the levels are just areas with different themes mashed together in an awkward way. The gameplay is lackluster and janky; in one level, you can phase through certain objects (which basically look no different from the solid ones), and in another, you have to collect clocks to increase the timer (which isn't explained to you. In fact, I did not even notice that the timer is low the first time). I did not enjoy myself.
